Criminal Searches

Criminal searches are a best practice in protecting your family in today’s world. We live in a world where criminals are plentiful and the crime rate in on an increase. Since the criminal system in America is strapped, it is easy for a criminal, or former criminal, to work their way into your lives. No longer is crime confined to the streets. It has entered our personal spaces.

Criminal searches are one of the best weapons we have to fight this emerging threat. By identifying those who have criminal pasts, we are taking a proactive approach to protecting ourselves, thus saving us from future harm or loss.

What is a Criminal Search? A criminal search is a background check you can do that will reveal a person’s past. These searches can be done over the internet, and usually cost $ 20-$ 30 – nothing big. It is best to do a full background check (no it doesn’t cost extra) so that you get the full story of the person’s past, in order to gain an understanding of the person’s character.

You might wonder why you can’t get this information for free. The reason is that it takes a lot of resources to gather and record these records. There is NO national criminal database that the public has access to. So companies that offer this service charge a small fee for their effort in putting these records together in a central location.

Criminal searches are so important in the world we live in today. No other time in history has it been so easy to get information on some one’s past. Use the tools set before you, and protect yourself and your family.

Yep, it’s completely legal to film ANYTHING that is visible from public property (i.e., the sidewalk). And it is a good idea to stand out of the way so they can’t claim obstruction.

No worries – lying to a police officer will generally get you busted for a charge like interfering with a lawful investigation or obstruction (depending on your jurisdiction). It’s actually a common way that they arrest (and therefore get a right to search you) people who they can’t otherwise arrest.

Remember – it’s like you’re a POW. Nothing more than name, address, and ID should be given.

  • Lobato1987:

Thanks and I was just asking because I heard that there was a law against lying to a cop so I was just making sure.

  • lalunanoir10:

ok some good info there but, you are going on about flexing your rights but then you say “your lawyer”. how about more info on being your own lawyer? about flexing your rights in a courtroom situation.
