Does that mean when someone’s criminal background is run it will come back as No Record? Or as Record Attached?

If you watch the news on television, read editorials in newspapers, or listen to most politicians today you’ll come away with several points. I wanted to share those points with you and what I found with my research:

1. That this country is a melting pot of ideas, people and religions. True, but just like with the ideas and the people, not all religions are good … just protected.

2. That our founding fathers believed in the separation of church and state. True, but not for the reason you may think.

3. That the founding fathers were not Christians at all, but Deists who did not believe the bible was true. False and allow me to present just a few of the more popular founders and their statements as evidence.

John Adams

On April 18, 1775, a British soldier ordered him, John Hancock, and others to disperse in the name of George the Sovereign King of England. Adams responded to him: We recognize no sovereign but God, and no king but Jesus! In a letter to Thomas Jefferson dated June 28, 1813, he said: The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity

Samuel Adams

He was also a steadfast Christian. In The Rights of the Colonists, which he wrote in 1772, he said: The right to freedom being the gift of the Almighty…The rights of the colonists as Christians…may be best understood by reading and carefully studying the institutions of The Great Law Giver and Head of the Christian Church, which are to be found clearly written and promulgated in the New Testament.

After signing the Declaration of Independence, he proclaimed: We have this day restored the Sovereign to Whom all men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let His kingdom come.

In his February, 1795 Proclamation for a Day of Public Fasting, Humiliation and Prayer, then Governor Adams said: That with true repentance and contrition of Heart, we may unitedly implore the forgiveness of our Sins, through the merits of Jesus Christ, and humbly supplicate our Heavenly Father, to grant us the aids of his Grace, for the amendment of our Hearts and Lives, and vouchsafe his smiles upon our temporal concerns.

And finally, these are the words in his Last Will and Testament: Principally, and first of all, I resign my soul to the Almighty Being who gave it, and my body I commit to the dust, relying on the merits of Jesus Christ for the pardon of my sins.

He wrote on November 9, 1772 in a letter to William Bradford: A watchful eye must be kept on ourselves lest while we are building ideal monuments of Renown and Bliss here we neglect to have our names enrolled in the Annals of Heaven.

In September of 1773, in a letter to William Bradford, he wrote: I have sometimes thought there could be no stronger testimony in favor of Religion or against temporal Enjoyments even the most rational and manly than for men who occupy the most honorable and gainful departments and are rising in reputation and wealth, publicly to declare their unsatisfactoriness by becoming fervent Advocates in the cause of Christ, & I wish you may give in your Evidence in this way. Such instances have seldom occurred, therefore they would be more striking and would be instead of a “Cloud of Witnesses.

In 1785, in Memorial and Remonstrance Against Religious Assessments, Madison wrote: It is the duty of every man to render to the Creator such homage. Before any man can be considered as a member of Civil Society, he must be considered as a subject of the Governor of the Universe. We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self government; upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.

Although he did speak of a “wall of separation,” it is evident that the purpose of said wall was to prevent Congress from passing a national law to establish a national religion.

In an 1803 letter objecting to the use of government land for churches, he wrote: The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries.

George Mason

In his will, George Mason wrote: My soul I resign into the hands of my Almighty Creator, whose tender mercies are all over His works, who hateth nothing that He hath made, and to the justice and wisdom of whose dispensations I willingly and cheerfully submit, humbly hoping from His unbounded mercy and benevolence, through the merits of my blessed Savior, a remission of my sins.

George Washington

In his first general order to his own troops, General Washington said he called on: Every officer and man…to live, and act, as becomes a Christian Soldier defending the dearest rights and liberties of his country.

In a letter to all state governors in June, 1783, he wrote: I now make it my earnest prayer, that God would have you and the State over which you preside, in his holy protection, that he would incline the hearts of the Citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to Government–to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another, for their fellow Citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for their Brethren who have served in the Field, and finally, that he would most graciously be pleased to dispose us all, to do Justice, to love Mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, Humility, and Pacific temper of mind which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without an humble imitation of whose example in these things, we can never hope to be a Happy Nation.

In 1787, he warned the Constitutional Convention delegates: If to please the people, we offer what we ourselves disapprove, how can we afterward defend our work? Let us raise a standard to which the wise and the honest can repair; the event is in the Hand of God!”

When he proclaimed a National Day of Thanksgiving, he said: Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor

Question by : Why would a racist Presidential candidate want to pardon all non-violent drug offenders?
Based on the 20 year old ‘Tiger Beat’ news letters of a Ron Paul fan club, Ron Paul has been labeled as racist by the corporate-controlled media and establishment Democrats and Republicans.

It seems that if a Presidential candidate were a racist, he would want to lock up more minorities for minor drug offenses. Also, I thought minorities were more often imprisoned for drug offenses than white people.

How would a Presidential candidate that wants ALL non-violent drug offenders immediately pardoned be a racist?

The attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland, the petitioner, by Bar Counsel, acting pursuant to Maryland Rule 16-709, filed a Petition for Disciplinary Action against Bruce Scott Gilbert, the respondent, alleging that he did engage in misconduct and charging violation of Rule 8.4 (b) and (d) of the Maryland Lawyers’ Rules of Professional Conduct. The Petition was referred, pursuant to Maryland Rule 16- 711(a), for hearing and to make finding of fact and conclusions of law. Following which the court concluded that “the Respondent engaged in criminal conduct involving the possession of cocaine in violation of Article 27, 287 of the Annotated Code of Maryland and that such conduct constitutes a violation of [Rule 8.4] of the Rules of Professional Conduct.” The conduct on which the conclusion was based is, as the court found, the petitioner’s plea of guilty to a charge of possession of crack cocaine, for which he was sentenced to a four year term of imprisonment, which was suspended in favor of three years of unsupervised probation with special conditions that he be monitored and abstain from the use of alcohol. Respondent appealed from the order.

Whether appropriate sanction has been imposed on the defendant for conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice?

This court held that although it was not the defendants first contact with the criminal justice system as a defendant, this is the respondent’s first disciplinary proceeding. Moreover, so far as the record reveals, and certainly the petitioner has not alleged otherwise, this misconduct was not directly related to the practice of law. Furthermore, the respondent has made efforts to rehabilitate himself and to overcome his addiction. Under these circumstances, it is believed that the appropriate sanction to be imposed is suspension from the practice of law for thirty days. Upon his reinstatement, the petitioner shall be monitored by Richard Vincent, the Director of the Lawyer Counseling Service of the Maryland State Bar Association, who will submit reports to Bar Counsel on a schedule to be determined by Bar Counsel, and the petitioner shall participate in such rehabilitative activities as Mr. Vincent shall prescribe.

This court hence affirms the order and suspends respondent from the practice of law for 30 days because this was the respondent’s first disciplinary proceeding, the misconduct was not directly related to the practice of law, and the respondent had made efforts to rehabilitate himself and overcome his addiction.

County, Court Criminal Records

County criminal records can be found in state superior courts, which have a presence in almost every county or independent city. There is usually a fee to search the online county superior court criminal documents. The website of each county superior court usually provides access to it’s own records, only. It could be extremely cumbersome, expensive and time consuming, if you have to search for a large number of people and /or many addresses of a single or multiple people. Searching all court criminal records individually and separately is, therefore, not advisable.
In these cases, it is much more convenient, economical and time saving, if you search county criminal records on a website that integrates the records from all courts in the nation, and provides access to all of these records, altogether, on the basis of a flat fee or membership fee, in one integrated search, for all nationwide court records.

You will save lots of time, money and effort this way. These searches include domestic violence cases, which are very important, if you want to exclude the tendency for violence, gender discrimination and child abuse. You want to exclude the people involved in these cases to avoid workplace violence, which is becoming increasingly common and can cause serious damage to your business, via media reports, in particular. Court criminal records could be very helpful and beneficial in excluding applicants for job with domestic violence record / records.

While a restraining order record may be based on false allegations, it usually shows a violent and / or potentially violent personality trait / traits and possesses similar risks as the people with domestic violence record. The people with a restraining order record are not suitable employees for the same type of businesses as the people with domestic violence record are not suitable for. 

Although, expungement cleans up the criminal record, it shows the presence of a past criminal record / records, which may or may not b acceptable to you or your business. You may decide to not have a personal relationship with a person having expungement record. But, before denying a job application on the basis of presence of an expungement record, consult your lawyer. Expungement of certain criminal records, in certain states, may provide immunity from denial of work application. Denial of job on the basis of expungement record in these cases may be pertained as discrimination, causing serious troubles to you and your business. This is because, some states will consider an expungement record equivalent to court certification that this person has paid enough for his or her crime / crimes and any further punishment may be considered excessive, discriminatory and even, illegal. 

Appeals to misdemeanor or felony, if approved and the decision is made in the favor of defendant, then, the person is considered not guilty of charge or charges, he or she was charged for. The person is legally not considered guilty of charges, as long as the appeal or case is in progress and the court or jury has not declared him or her guilty. Under all these circumstances, you may not want to build a personal relationship with this person, but, you cannot reject a job application, until and unless the person is found guilty in the court of law. If the case or an appeal is in process, then, you can condition your decision with the decision of the court. 

Failure to pay fine / fines, may show the financial hardship and a desperate need for a job. It may, on the other hand, could be a sign of unreliable and dishonest personality trait. 

Failure to appear in court, could be the result of circumstances, above and beyond the control of the person in question like, financial hardship, unavailability of transport, sickness, disability and inability to leave work or business. At the same time, it may be because of the fact that the person is guilty and wants to avoid the court, judge and / or jury. 

Current bail orders may show that the criminal charges and evidence, so far is not very impressive or serious. At the same account they show that there is a criminal case going on and the person is still not declared guilty or not guilty by the court of law. 

Fine payments and community service are ordered on misdemeanor charges, which are not as serious as felony charges. Fines and / or community service for misdemeanor charges do not necessarily mean that a person is eligible for an employment or you may want to consider him or her for a personal relationship. 

Many employers are now taking into account the foreclosure sale records, too. In their opinion they may show the tendency to irresponsibly live beyond the means and get into financial troubles. It may also show lake of consideration and respect for liabilities and responsibilities, specially financial responsibilities. They may also be considered responsible for heartlessly wasting tax payers money and having no respect and concern for public treasury, at national, state or local level. 

Some employers consider middle age singles as the people with fear of commitment, unlikely to show a sound commitment to their employer and job.

Well some of you who know me well may have seen my first census for on yootoob already – it even made an apearance on ITN news – any how I had a nice visit from the very nice census lady – we had a very polite conversation and she ticked refused due to lockheed martin on her tick sheet. You could work for the police in many different ways. A better bet would be Federal service. Federal service is all about getting your foot in and then taking advantage of opportunities that are only for insiders. People get promoted fairly easily, get paid a bit better than they should, and have the most amazing retirement plans (they earn more per year after they retire than they earned when they were working!).
